About Joshua Jiang

Joshua Jiang is an LA-based student actor currently studying at Loyola Marymount University. Having grown up in Shanghai for over six years, he’s fluent in Chinese and Cantonese, and even a couple of Shanghainese phrases from his grandmother! As a child, he showed interest in performance, taking the stage through plays and piano recitals. Joshua also began his journey in Taekwondo at a young age, which he has continued for almost 15 years now. Growing up, Joshua saw the combination of martial arts and film come alive in Bruce Lee, his first idol.

Moving back to the US, Joshua took his acting to a new level, being an active part of his high school’s theater department, performing in every show he could audition for. Now in college, Joshua is able to focus and expand on his craft through productions and acting classes at a higher level. Outside of acting, Joshua preserves his faded dream of being a professional soccer player by passionately yelling at players on TV.
